Laura Griffin is a freelance writer, freelance audio editor, copywriter, and a chaser of interesting stories.

Hello - and welcome to my website!

I am a freelance writer and audio editor currently based in Lincolnshire.

I’ve previously written reviews for the British Centre of Eighteenth-Century Studies (BSECS) as part of their Criticks Reviews page, which provides “entertaining, informative and provocative reviews of events and media that are of interest to scholars of the eighteenth century.” My working life within the food industry has included writing website copy for Sleaford Quality Foods’ new website, industry news articles, and planning social media posts to engage customers and the general public. For examples of my work, please see my portfolio or have a look at my blog.

I have also written, directed, and edited audio shows and projects for Heckington Living Radio, including The Importance of Being Earnest and a series of Sherlock Holmes radio farces. For examples of this work, please see my portfolio.

When I have a free moment, I’m an avid reader of current affairs, cultural critique, and anything that piques my curiosity.

I'm always interested in hearing about new opportunities. If you're interested in working together, please get in touch at laura@yellowsatchelmedia.co.uk or through my social media - looking forward to hearing from you!
